By providing an affordable neighborhood live theater venue, RUHSTAB is organized and operated for charitable and educational purposes to:

- support the Redondo Union High School Theater Arts Department
- benefit the students and local community
- foster youth on performing or appreciating advance performing arts edcation
- promote a common bond among community local schools and theater arts​

Annual membership fees support all aspects of the RUHS Drama program, including performances at the theater and at other campuses in the community.
